Each Thursday afternoon the Rockland Tourism Department will send out an email blast (they have 50,000 on their list now) of events for the upcoming weekend all around Rockland County.

To be notified go to www.rockland.org. To submit your event the deadline is four (4) weeks before your event. The Tourism Department says that a minimum of 4 “happenings” will be highlighted each weekend. You can sign up at the website when you visit. The spot to sign up is in the upper right hand corner.

The Ghost Army Exhibit

Historical Society of Rockland, 20 Zukor Rd., New City

Two Rockland County veterans reveal the secret story of how artists used deception and ingenuity to help win World War II. This exhibit features the work of Rockland County Ghost Army artists Bill Sayles of South Nyack and Ned Harris of New City.

Members: Free Non-Members: $7 adults, children under 12, $3
